If you are planning to shoot in the Brno-Central district, please first contact Transport Department of the Municipal District of Brno-Centre. Detailed instructions for the application and the necessary attachments can be found in HERE. (Don't be surprised, the excavation form is actually used for the film footage). If you have chosen a different part of town, contact the appropriate department of one of the 29 districts of Brno.
As long as you don't disrupt traffic or impede pedestrians, just report the filming to the borough. In the case of the Municipality of Brno Centre, you can use the form Notice of public sporting and cultural events, dance parties and discoswhich is available online at least 5 working days before the event.
In the case of drone filming in populated areas, it is always necessary to contact the Civil Aviation Authority and apply for an Operating Permit (OP) including all mandatory attachments or use the the services of a professionalwho is already authorised.
