Architect Bohuslav Fuchs had an extremely narrow building plot in Česká Street. The way he dealt with the limited space is unique in the world. The hotel building is only 8 metres wide. In 2022, the hotel reopened after renovation. The café area, or the second and third floors, now serves as a museum of functionalism.
