The sought-after place for sport, recreation and relaxation with the slang name Prýgl covers an area of 250 hectares. The dam was built in 1936-40 and is flanked on both sides by extensive forests, offering opportunities not only for swimming and water sports, but also for hiking and cycling. In winter, the frozen water surface becomes a popular place for ice skaters and cross-country skiers.
