The Lapidarium is located in the former water reservoirs, which have been put to new use after almost 100 years. Two giant reservoirs from 1870-71 and 1900 were built as a water supply for the town and served until about the 1920s. The Temple of Stone exhibition here presents a valuable collection of sculptures, tombstones and stone ornaments from Brno's extinct buildings.
