The former regional prison in Brno on Cejl is an exceptional baroque building with a history dating back to the end of the 18th century. Gradually, the building, originally situated behind the city walls, found itself in the middle of the city and few people today have any idea that even during the 20th century, executions of political opponents of Nazism and Communism were still taking place here.
