Villa Engelsmann

Hlinka Street is one of the oldest residential parts of the city. It was built after the middle of the 19th century in a recreational area in the valley of the Svratka River. It was here that the Brno industrialist Felix Engelsmann had a large building adapted for his own housing in 1931. The generously proportioned villa has many rooms and the whole building is dominated by a hall on the first floor with a fireplace. Behind the villa there is a large garden.
