The arcade is located in the eponymous Jalta Palace, which was built in 1928-29 to a design by Jaroslav Polívka. The basement was originally the site of the Bio Moderna cinema and restaurant. On the ground floor there is still a shopping arcade, which has a unique atmosphere thanks to its location in Brno's functionalist pearl.
