Zbrojovka was founded in 1918 under the name of Czechoslovak Arms Production Plants. From the beginning, it repaired automobiles, rifles, telephone and railway equipment. Brands such as Remington (typewriters) and Škoda tractors are associated with Zbrojovka. Weapons for the Wehrmacht and Waffen-SS were produced here, and in 1945 the famous Zetor tractor brand saw the light of day.
